That community stuck with her. The first gym Reas went to had an area outside where kids would play while their parents worked out, and, Reas says, offered the boys a chance to "play with the neighborhood kids." That same gym emphasized community, and, she adds, for a good five years, our family was CrossFit." Because there was that overall community, Reas was able to find other women who were also divorced with kids, and "we stuck together," she says. "It was just a very supportive system and something that I needed. I'm very thankful that was there during that time."
